The trainings emphasize hands-on learning using locally available materials, enabling participants to respond effectively during emergencies. Key areas include first aid, preparation of emergency kits, use of improvised stretchers, disaster drills for hazards such as earthquakes, floods, and fires, and community risk mapping to identify safe and vulnerable areas.
The approach combines interactive methods such as simulation exercises, games, and participatory tools to strengthen understanding and retention.
