Strengthen Disaster Preparedness and Resilience Among Schools and Communities Project

DEPO is implementing a project to strengthen disaster preparedness and resilience among schools and communities in Kageshwori Manahara Municipality, Kathmandu District. Launched on March 1, 2026, with funding support from Charities Aid Foundation America, the project is being carried out in 10 schools, engaging students, teachers, and surrounding communities. The initiative focuses on building practical knowledge and skills through training, school-based activities, and community engagement, with the aim of promoting safer learning environments and strengthening local capacity for disaster preparedness and response.
