Disaster and Climate Resilience Project

DEPO provides technical support and capacity-building services for climate and disaster resilience in partnership with Human Development and Community Services (HDCS). The support focuses on strengthening the capacity of staff and teachers in disaster preparedness, while also facilitating the development and use of DRR educational game materials in schools.

Through this engagement, DEPO conducted a Training of Trainers (ToT) on disaster preparedness and facilitated workshops on disaster education game development. It also supported the design of five educational games addressing different hazards, followed by training on their effective use and additional capacity-building for staff. This service contributes to strengthening institutional capacity and promoting practical, activity-based learning on disaster resilience in schools.
