Empowering Students as Champions of Disaster Resilience in Tansen

DEPO facilitates three days of disaster risk reduction (DRR) education training from June 27 to 29 in Tansen, Palpa. 

Throughout the program, students strengthened their disaster preparedness knowledge through a range of engaging, hands-on learning activities, including disaster drills, paper craft games, a landslide-themed Snakes and Ladders game, earthquake awareness picture stories, an emergency kit quiz game, and shuffle card games. These interactive tools helped transform complex disaster concepts into practical, memorable learning experiences.

The program was organized by Tansen Municipality under the School-Based Disaster Risk Reduction Resource Center project. DEPO Nepal is one of the technical partners for this project, helping to capacitate schools and students.
